Meet the creative minds behind our mural
The name ‘Butter Fish Services’ is no coincidence. It represents a strong spiritual tie between the company’s CEO Don MacAskill and his Aboriginal culture.
In a step further, late last year the Butter Fish company headquarters were decked out in a mural thanks to the collaboration of Wiradjuri artist Keven May (Pictured above left) and international street artist Tim Phibs (Pictured above right).
It centres around the Butter Fish logo – it’s vivid shades of blue representing water where the Butter Fish is found, along with spirit guides which are designed to protect all those within the Butter Fish Services Community and journey.
“The Butter Fish is my totem. It seemed only logical to use it as our company name and now hopefully it will be forever associated with restoring choice and control to all people, some of which are our most vulnerable in society,” Don said (Pictured above middle).
