We are behaviour specialists who offer support to children, their families, community and schools. Our aim is to improve the quality of life of our clients and have a positive impact on all members of the family.

What is Behaviour Therapy?

Behaviour therapy aims to address behavioural issues through the development of a Behaviour Support Plan (BSP). By taking a person-centered approach (PCA) we work with our clients and their primary support network (parents, caregivers, schools and support staff) to develop a customised plan that focuses on skill-building and strategies that seek to resolve any behaviours of concern.
 
A behaviour of concern can include physical and verbal aggression, sexualised behaviour, and acts of defiance. The behaviour therapy we practice takes elements from Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and other psychological principles. 
 
These principles are evidence-based and work across a variety of disorders and disabilities; and are all about skill building, improving quality of life, and preparing our clients for important life transitions.
