Putting your life
into your hands

When life feels challenging, and challenging behaviours and responses develop as a result, it can be difficult to find a way out. Occupational Therapy (OT) works to help you better respond to the barriers that can seem to block your ability to control your emotional, social and physical needs.

OT’s focus on promoting health and wellbeing, and enables you to participate in the everyday occupations of life, such as self-care activities including showering, dressing and preparing food, as well as activities such as education, work, volunteering and caring for others and leisure/social activities.

Our OT services also include Mental Health OT, which works to assist you through the times life gets difficult and challenging, such as needing to deal with grief, heavy emotions, high stress situations, anxiety and depression. Mental Health OT supports you to better understand how to function through life in a more positive way through support that engages you or your child more successfully in your ‘role’, whether that be student, child, parent, spouse or simply an adult in the community.
