What is Counselling?

Counselling is based on building a strong and productive interpersonal relationship between an individual and their counsellor. Our process involves exploring and resolving issues that are personal, interpersonal or intraphysic in nature.

Counselling provides confidential support to people of all ages and backgrounds, so everything you discuss is private and safe from negativity.

Counsellors are trained, objective professionals who offer different types of assistance — most frequently talking-based styles of therapy. Often they work in partnership with a GP or other health professional to give their clients integrated, holistic and comprehensive care.
