Expanding Butter Fish Services: Behaviour Support Practitioners Now Serving Victoria & South Australia

We are thrilled to announce that Butter Fish Services is expanding to support even more individuals and families across Victoria (VIC) and South Australia (SA). Our expanded team of dedicated NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioners (BSPs) is now on the ground, ready to provide person-centred care in these regions.

What this means for you

Whether you’re in Melbourne, Adelaide, or regional areas like Geelong or Barossa, you can now access specialist support services designed to improve quality of life and reduce behaviours of concern. Our practitioners focus on:

  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS): Using evidence-based strategies to understand the function of behaviour and proactively replace it with more helpful communication methods.
  • Tailored support plans: Crafting comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans that align with state-specific and national regulations, helping clients to overcome anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges.
  • Collaborative care: Working closely with families, carers, and support teams to ensure everyone is equipped with practical personalised strategies.

Why local support matters

We know that every community is unique. Our registered local practitioners in VIC and SA, alongside our established team within NSW, bring a deep understanding of local healthcare systems and community resources. By being physically present, we can offer more frequent face-to-face visits, attend local care team meetings, and provide more responsive therapeutic support.

How to get started

If you need individual, couples, or family therapy sessions in VIC or SA, please get in touch with us using the following methods:

  • Make a referral: Visit our online referral page to provide details about your needs.
  • Contact our team: Reach out via our contact form for any questions about our practitioners’ availability in your specific suburb, and to request a callback.

That’s not all, if you are a BSP serving these areas, there’s still room to join the team – fill out the application form on our website to submit your application.

We look forward to building stronger, more inclusive communities together in Victoria and South Australia!
